āHere are some things that will come in handy, while you're new to riding with us:
Western is on the BLUE Line. This means that every 15 minutes, there's a bus coming by in each directionāone toward Downtown, and another down Bill McDonald Parkway. Routes on the BLUE Line have three-digit numbers, for example 107, 190, etc.
āAll buses departing from Gate 5 at Bellingham Station go through Western's Campus and by Sehome Village.
Have your Western Card ready to swipe, as soon as you board the bus.
When it's "standing room only," move all the way to the back of the bus, to make room for others. Taking off your backpack helps too.
Sometimes full buses will pass you by. When this happens, another bus will be coming shortly, to pick you up. If you have classes at peak travel times, walking or riding a bike to campus can be faster than waiting for an riding the bus.
