WTA will continue to offer a Saturday level of service five days a week (Monday through Friday), and a Sunday level of service on Saturdays and Sundays.
We recognize that as we move through Washington’s Safe Start Phase 2 and beyond, and our community continues to “open up,” there will be more people wanting and needing to travel to more places. We know our service reduction will make this difficult for some. Unfortunately, it is necessary. Our current level of service is what we’re able to sustain, now and throughout this summer, based on:
- The availability of bus drivers
- The availability of staff and supplies to keep our buses and facilities clean and safe
- Our capacity to add service on our busiest routes, to allow for greater physical distancing onboard
We would like to hear from you; please take our survey!
Among other things, this survey will help us determine where to add service—if some additional capacity were to become available—to help meet the needs of our community. You can also send your questions, comments and requests for service to email@example.com.
We thank you for your continued patience, cooperation and understanding.
We will continue to offer free fares until further notice.
WTA's Zone Service, which provides limited dial-a-ride service to rural communities one or two days per week, will not be reduced at this time.
