We offer Travel Training for anyone who wants to learn to ride the fixed route bus independently. Our friendly Travel Trainer works with people who are new to riding the bus and new to the area. We work with people of all ages and abilities.

Travel Training is free, and tailored to you.​ It is designed to suit your specific needs and interests. 

You will learn to:​

• Plan your trip to places YOU want to go
• Locate the easiest route
• Learn to read and understand route maps and schedules
• Learn to use an online trip planner
• Recognize route numbers, bus stops and landmarks
• Travel safely to and from bus stops
• Transfer between buses, when two routes are needed to complete your trip
• Board the bus with a mobility device
• Purchase passes, and pay your fare
• Travel safely and with confidence
