About Park & Rides
WTA owns and operates three Park & Rides. WTA-owned Park & Rides are open to the public and free of charge.
WTA routes serve additional park & rides. Some, for example WWU's Lincoln Creek Transportation Center, charge a fee for parking.

Where are WTA's Park & Rides?
WTA owns and operates Park & Ride lots at Cordata Station, Ferndale Station and Lynden Station. See below for more information.
Who can park at WTA's Park & Rides?
Our Park & Ride lots offer free all-day parking for people who are:
- Parking to board a WTA bus
- Parking to board other buses providing service throughout the region
- Parking to join a carpool or vanpool
- Parking to access the Ferndale Food Bank
When is it not OK to park at WTA's Park & Rides?
Unauthorized uses of our Park & Ride lots include:
- Parking to access neighboring businesses or Whatcom Community College
- Overnight parking to meet private charter bus or van (without prior permission)*
- General Parking
* To obtain permission for overnight parking at WTA-owned lots, or for use by private charter or van, contact WTA at (360) 676-7433.
No Smoking at Park & Rides
We do not allow the use of tobacco products at our Park & Rides.
Liability at Park & Rides
Park at your own risk. WTA is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage.
Park & Ride Locations
Cordata Station and Park & Ride
WTA's Cordata Station is located at 4194 Cordata Pkwy in Bellingham. This facility has public restrooms and provides parking spaces for 70 cars.
Information Booth
Monday - Friday......8:00 am - 6:45 pm
Saturday...................9:30 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday......................Closed
Cordata Station is served by routes 3, 4, 15, 24, 26, 27, 48, 71X, 232 and 331.
Ferndale Station and Park & Ride
WTA's Ferndale Station is located at 1675 Main St in Ferndale. This facility provides parking spaces for 131 cars and is served by routes 27 and 75.
Lynden Station and Park & Ride
WTA's Lynden Station is located at 1945 Front St in Lynden. This facility provides parking spaces for 89 cars and is served by Route 26.
Lincoln Creek Park & Ride
WWU's Lincoln Creek Park & Ride is located on Lincoln Street. It is open to the public and provides parking spaces for 530 cars. WTA buses serve Lincoln Creek, including frequent routes to Western Washington University and Route 80X to Mt. Vernon. The park & ride lot is open Monday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 11:00 pm and requires a WWU permit. For more information click here. Overnight parking is not allowed.
Lincoln Creek is served by routes 80X, 80S, 190, 190S, 196, 197 and 533.
Chuckanut Park & Ride
Chuckanut Park and Ride is located 999 N. Burlington Blvd. in Burlington. Skagit Transit maintains and operates this facility owned by Washington State DOT. It is open to the public and provides parking spaces for 369 cars.
Chuckanut Park & Ride is served by Route 80X.
Alger Park & Ride
Skagit Transit's Alger Park & Ride is located on Lake Samish Rd just to the east of I-5 exit 240. This park and ride provides parking spaces for 54 cars and is served by Route 80X.
Birch Bay Square Park & Ride
Birch Bay Square Park & Ride is located at 8115 Birch Bay Square St. This park and ride provides parking spaces for 10 cars and is served by route 75.
