How Does TouchPass Work?
TouchPass works a little like a debit account. Your TouchPass Card or TouchPass Mobile App is your key to that account. In other words, the bus pass or rides you purchase will be "stored" in your TouchPass account. When you tap your TouchPass Card or smartphone to pay your fare, it debits from your account.
Once you register your account, you can manage your account online, and even set it to autoload a new pass or new "11 rides for $10," when yours are about to run out.
Will the TouchPass card reader accept anything other than a TouchPass Card or TouchPass Mobile App?
No. Riders paying their fares with Student I.D. cards, Free on Fixed Route Cards, County Connector Cards and paper passes will still use the fare box on the bus.
