Park & Ride

If you are traveling between towns, or if your destination has limited (and / or expensive) parking, Parking & Riding can save you time and money!

Ferndale Station is a large, secure Park & Ride lot located conveniently off I-5. The lot is well lit and has video surveillance. Use it to park your car while you carpool, vanpool, or jump on one of WTA's bus routes serving Ferndale. (Routes 27 Ferndale, 70x Blaine Express or Route 55 Blaine/Birch Bay). The Park & Ride lot is located on Axton Rd. just east of I-5 (Exit 262).

Lynden Station, served by Routes 25X and 26, has the same amenities as Ferndale, plus visitor information.

Cordata Station, located at Cordata Pkwy and Westerly Rd near Whatcom Community College, has 75 parking spaces and is served by numerous routes.

The Park & Ride lots listed below offer FREE all-day parking. Property owners are listed in parentheses.

Authorized uses of  WTA Park & Ride lots are for boarding a WTA bus, or for carpooling or vanpooling.

Unauthorized uses include parking for neighboring businesses, for Whatcom Community College (at Cordata Station), for private charter bus or van (without prior approval)*, or general parking.

No overnight parking without prior approval.  Violators will be towed at owner's expense.  WTA is not responsible for loss, theft, or damge. Use of tobacco products is prohibited on WTA property.

*To obtain permission for overnight parking at WTA-owned lots, or for use by private charter or van, contact WTA at 676-RIDE.
