With help from Whatcom Smart Trips, and a grant from the State of Washington, WTA is offering all 7th graders in Whatcom County a FREE quarterly bus pass, good from April through June.
A note for parents:
Whatcom Smart Trips staff visited your child's school and taught all 7th graders how to ride the bus and how to plan their trips, using the 7th Grade Bus Trip Planner. Students also received a brochure with detailed instructions on how to reach some popular destinations.
Riding the bus may seem like a big step. Taking a bus trip with your parent/child would be a great way for both of you to begin. Please call us at 676-RIDE, if you need any help getting started.
